Love Struck: a Perennial Favourite
Every February without fail, Lynn Johnston’s For Better or For Worse crew offers their annual Love Struck Contest (open until the 20th of February).
The premise is simple: contestants try to shoot 15 falling hearts with Cupid’s arrow. Successful shooters get to enter a draw for a special prize.
In years past, it’s been a signed animation cel. This year, it’s a much-sought-after plush Farley. Love Struck attracts many entrants and people enjoy playing the simple yet challenging game year after year.
Love Struck is an excellent example of sticky content: make a task fun enough and offer a reward, and people will return over and over to try their luck, and they’ll love you for giving them the opportunity to win something special.
