For the second time this month we’re seeing phishing emails relating to your cPanel account. The subject line from this new scam is “Updates to the cPanel Services Agreement” and the body of the email includes this text: If you wish to continue to use our products and services we recommend that you find the attachment file that is attached to this email to automatically update to our privacy policy to avoid service interruption, or your account being closed.
These emails look legit, but please do not ever open attachments from “cPanel”. If you have questions about your hosting account or any suspicious emails you may have received, please contact me for assistance.
